ImageLint - VS Code Extension for Image Optimization

Production VS Code extension with 1K+ downloads that lints image assets

detects unoptimized files, suggests fixes (compress, WebP/AVIF conversion, resize), and applies them inline in the editor. Built with native C++ integration (sharp library with platform-specific binaries), custom esbuild pipeline with post-build copy for zero top-level node_modules, security-hardened WebView audit UI with CSP and nonce-based content, and full test suite (24 unit tests). Typical projects see 85–95% image size reduction after first scan. Shipped as a 7.3 MB VSIX with 98 files and no bloat.
